B.A.D. Dog Cycles Inc was founded in 2022 after the owners Bill Knowlton, Adam Pelley, and Danny Thomas realized there was a hole in the market for the full service we come to expect with our passion for motorcycles. Customer service and a real motorcycle destination are the values we live by at BAD Dog. When you ride to our beautiful Timberlea Nova Scotia shop located on Govenor’s Lake expect to see modern service bays, branded clothing, and the latest riding gear. If you’re just dropping by to talk bikes by the lake stop by Naughty Kitty Cafe located inside for a coffee and snack. We look forward to meeting you.
Known as the “office bitch” of the shop Bill or the “B” in B.A.D. Dog Cycles acts mainly in the administration role, but will be found slinging coffee and creating menus for the Naughty Kitty Cafe. Married for 25-years to Wendy who you will see on ride night as well on her purple softtail named Lucille. The father of one is a passionate rider and the least experienced in the group, but learning quickly. He has no choice on his 1998 Honda Valkyrie with a pet name of Vinnie.
It’s hard to say what you will notice about the “A” in B.A.D. Dog first. The brillant beard or his 1988 FXRS Low Rider. Well known in the community Adam Pelley is a father of two girls and married to soon to be rider Tanya. Adam will be handling bike sales and customer service at the shop on a daily basis. Coming from an extensive background in logistics and inventory management you will likely always run into Adam as keeping him away from work is normally the biggest issue.
On his states side imported Honda Monkey or his Road King the “D” rides with a passion matched by very few. Danny Thomas is a former high level logistics manager and general manager for several well known retailers. With his two children getting older and the support of his wife Racheal, Danny is taking the plunge and turning his passion into reality with the founding of B.A.D. Dog. Taking care of customer service, appointment management, and retail Danny is one of the faces you will see daily.
Keeping his home with Adam, the B.A.D. Dog mascot Murphy is the original “Bad Dog.” This five-year old purebred Saint Bernard is well known for leaving a path of destruction behind him wherever he goes. The true star of the show might come to the occasional bike night, but we recommend you don’t have his favorite snack in your pocket. A leather jacket may protect you from road rash, but it won’t protect you from a hungry Murphy. For a dog his profit share is surprisingly high… paid out in weiners of course.
