April 12, 2025 – Dance the night away at Monte’s Showbar & Grill in support of Biker’s Down as we take some time to remember those lost. Tickets are $10 online or $15.00 at the door. It’s a fun way to kick off the season. You can find the details here.
May 03 2025 – Annual Blessing of the Bikes, Victoria Park, Truro. This is the season opener for all the good stuff that is to come. You might as well start out on the right foot. No matter your belief having someone bless your ride can’t be a bad thing. Posting this makes the season very real. Last year we did a group ride up from the shop. If people are interested we can certainly do it again.
May 03, 2025 – Any Old Iron Spring 2025 Swap Meet – 7:30am to 2pm. Rain Date: May 10th. Automotive swap meet. Car parts, motorcycle parts, oil cans, signs, garage art, whatever. No flea market stuff. Vendors $20 per spot: First come, First serve. Buyers admission is free. We had 60 vendors at our last spring meet, and more than 1500 people. It’s an event! 1 Devonshire St. Dartmouth
May 10, 2025 – Our friends the Salty Shore Riders along with Shore Cycle & Marine are hosting the 1st Annual Blessing of the Bikes taking place on the South Shore. Salty Shore does some amazing work in our community so you know this event will not disappoint as they raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). 11:30 AM start time. We are very excited to attend. Mark it on your calendars.
May 17, 2025 – Bikers Against Child Abuse is hosting their 100 Mile run for awareness here at BAD Dog again. Registration begins at 9:30 that morning with KSU at 11AM. The route will be released the day of the run. we can’t wait to do this again. The first run of the 2025 season leaving BAD Dog and for a great cause.
May 18, 2025 – The Halifax Motorcycle Show is back for it’s 3rd year. Details haven’t been fully released, but this was an amazing day last year. Live music, vendors, rides, and SO MANY bikes. Save the date and check out the facebook group here for all the latest updates.
June 5, 2025 – Bikers Down Society First BBQ of the year. 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Great food, friends and more. BBQ, 50/50, merchandise, and music! The BBQs serve as a gathering place for friends, family, and community members to connect and enjoy each other’s company. It’s a chance to share stories, laughter, and camaraderie while also raising awareness and support for the Bikers Down Society and its mission. By attending the BBQs, participants not only enjoy delicious food but also contribute to a worthy cause. The Bikers Down Society provides assistance to motorcyclists and their families in times of need, offering financial aid, emotional support, and resources to help navigate the challenges of recovery after an accident or injury.
June 13, 2025 – The second annual Breaking the Silence Ride. The first was a massive success and planning has started already. We broke the silence the first time, let’s destroy it the second time. You can find details on the event page.
June 14, 2025 – Big Stop Irving, Enfield. Registration 11am to 12:45pm. KSU at 1PM heading to Eastern Passage Legion. It rained like absolute hell last year, but this amazing group still plowed on through the weather to pay respects to those that fought for our freedoms. We were so honored to follow them as mechanical support and will be doing so again. This year will be done in celebration of our flag, come out and show your support. Trust me when I say it’s an emotional day, but there are still lots of laughs along the way.
June 21-22, 2025 – Devil’s Half Acre – Kentville. The first rally we ever attended as BAD Dog and certainly one of our absolute favorites. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever. You can find information as organizers update on their Facebook page here. Bring your “not beer.”
June 28th, 2025 – Salute the Saviors. From organizers: The date is Saturday June 28th, 2025. Pray the rain gods will stay away and be on our side for an amazing ride! We will be meeting at the Tim Hortons for 9:30 and stands up at 10am! With arrival time expected in Millwood around 12:15. The official public event will be posted in the coming days! This year’s ride will support the Special Olympics in honor of a friend lost riding last year.
July 5, 2025 – we aren’t releasing details yet, but a local clothing brand is launching their line at BAD Dog. It’s going to be a massive party with stunts, burnouts, vendors, and food. There are many rumors of a beer tent as well. We plan for this to be the biggest party of the year. You can find the event page here.
July 18-20, 2025 – Bordertown Biker Bash – join us in Amherst as we celebrate our second time at this wonderful event. Organizers are promising some changes this year including the reintroduction of the beer tent. We had a blast last year, especially after hours. Add it to your calendar. You can find details here.
August 1-3, 2025 – The 74th Crusaders of Annapolis Royal have announced this year’s rally will be in the theme of the 1920s. That’s right, bikes and gangsters. Sounds like a good time to me. Camping, friends and fun. This could be the oldest continuous rally in the province. You can find the details here.
August 2, 2025 – Thunder On The Coast – It looks like we have a new Rally in the West. Yarmouth has approved Thunder on the Coast. Details are light as planning has just started, but you can follow a Facebook group here: Thunder On The Coast. We are very excited to see another event added to the calendar. This could be a big year in the riding world. As details become available we will keep you informed.
August 8-10, 2025 – TOADSTOCK. We don’t need to really say much more than that. This oldschool staple in the rally calendar is back for another year. You’ve seen the videos and heard the stories. Now it’s time for you to come join us at the school and learn what a good time looks like. Details can be found here.
August 16, 2025 – Highway of Heroes. We are proud to have been asked back as mechanical support and we wouldn’t miss it for the world. This amazing run continues to grow year after year with over 500 bikes participating last year. We will once again be leaving from 12 Wing, but we’re told there will be some route changes in the name of safety with a different ending location. Adapting to the size and scope of this run is in the best interest of everyone. Details and updates can be found here.
August 24, 2025 – We are so happy to be back for a third year with our friends at Bikers Down for the IWK Toy Run. This is a day filled with big smiles and full bellies. After the run we will have a BBQ set up and live music on the deck. All toys donated go to kids staying at the IWK when they need them most. Visit the link for details.
August 28 – 31, 2025 – Sou’ West Iron & Ink is back for its second year brought to you by Grover Law. The list of events is far too much to list here so head over to the Facebook Page to see everything. We had a big part last year building a portable pool and losing, but still dominating the coffin race. It was an amazing time with oldschool biking at the forefront. September 14, 2025 – Destiny’s Ride – Join us for the 13th Annual Destiny’s Ride, a heartwarming event in which we take a scenic ride along a beautiful route to visit Destiny and her wonderful family. We will leave O’Connell’s Recycling in Lower Sackville and journey to 115 Birch Lane in Hillburn, N.S. There, we will have a BBQ and get a chance to see Destiny and her family, who sparked the idea for this ride 13 years ago. Meeting at 9:30am.
